Here are some frequently asked questions
These are the foundations that set children up for school and life.
Is my child too young to start?
If they can walk (or confidently wobble), they can start. Our programs are designed specifically for ages 1.5–6. We meet children exactly where they are developmentally. No pressure. No expectations. Just progress.
What if my child is shy?
How would you feel walking into a party by yourself, where you don’t know anyone? Most people would be shy and nervous. Your child will probably be shy and we see this every week. Some children jump straight in. Others take a little time. That’s completely normal. Our coaches are experienced in gently building confidence and helping every child feel safe and included. You’ll be amazed how quickly shy turns into “Watch this!”
Do parents stay during class?
It’s pretty good fun in class and you want to be there for it!
For Infants and younger Rookies, you’ll probably be on the ground stretching and throwing a ball with them (so shorts or tights are better than maxi dresses).
As children grow into Champs and Legends, parents usually step back and enjoy watching from the sidelines (with coffee and camera, ideally).
Is it competitive?
We focus on development first, competition second. There are games. There are challenges. There are moments of “We won!”. But we prioritise teamwork, sportsmanship and confidence over scoreboards.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes and sneakers. If they want to wear a batman cape or an Elsa costume, that’s fine. As long as they can run, jump and score a goal in their clothes. We recommend bringing a water bottle and plenty of energy. Sneakers are waaaaaaay faster than crocs as well.
What if we miss a class?
Life happens. Do any adults really go to all their gym, pilates and yoga clases…
If you miss a class, just come to another one.
Is it safe?
Yes. Safety is non-negotiable. All activities are age-appropriate, non-contact, and supervised by trained coaches. Equipment is designed specifically for young children. Big fun. Small risk.
How long are classes?
Classes typically run for 30–45 minutes depending on age group — the perfect
balance between high energy and attention span.
What if my child doesn’t listen?
They’re 2… or 3… or 4. We expect wiggles. We expect personality. Our structured sessions are designed to guide attention without pressure. And yes, waiting skills are part of the program too.
When will I see improvement?
Often within weeks. Coordination improves quickly at this age. Confidence improves even faster. You’ll notice it on the playground, at school, and even at home.
Ready to Get Started?
The hardest part is showing up to the first class. After that? They won’t want to leave.
