Basketball
Dribble, bounce, score… repeat. Kids learn coordination and timing while discovering that getting the ball in the hoop is extremely satisfying, especially when the whole room cheers like they just won the NBA finals.
Baseball
Step up to the plate! Kids learn how to swing, hit and run the bases like real pros. The best part? Everyone gets a turn, everyone runs the bases and celebrations are crazy.
Rugby
An international game that Australian’s call football! Every ball is passed backwards, the whole team is allowed to kick and you score something called a ‘try’. Come and try scoring a try!
Soccer
Sorry in advance for teaching your child to yell ‘GOOOOOALLLLLL’ at home!
Kids learn how to dribble, pass and score goals while discovering that chasing a ball is basically the best game ever invented. There will be goals, giggles and the occasional celebration that looks suspiciously like a dinosaur dance.
Hockey
Puck you! No stacks on, but stack the pucks, smash them down and then push the puck down the hall. Kids learn to control the puck, pass to teammates and aim for goal. It’s fast and exciting.
Lacrosse
A new favourite for many kids! Using soft equipment, children learn to scoop, carry and shoot while improving coordination and focus. It’s a bit like hockey, a bit like basketball and a lot of fun.
Athletics
Balancing the egg is much harder than you think. Tug of war is intense and should be an Olympic sport. Run, jump, throw, put the shot and watch out for the foam javelins flying through the air. This is the perfect sport to burn off that extra energy parents sometimes notice.
Volleyball
Up it goes! Kids learn how to tap, set and send the ball over the net while working together as a team. It’s fantastic for hand-eye coordination and little hands.
Golf
Most adults can’t play golf so let’s put a club in the hand of a toddler ;) You’re never too young for your first hole in one and tiny swings into the hole lead to enormous smiles. Kids learn how to grip, aim and hit the ball towards the target. It’s a great sport for patience.
Pickleball
One of the fastest growing sports in the world! With smaller courts and paddles, pickleball is perfect for kids learning to rally and move quickly. Plus, the name alone makes everyone smile, because there’s no other type of ball that goes on a hamburger.
Aussie Rules
This type of football really does rule. Run, bounce, kick and take something called a ‘speccy’ or a mark. You’ll learn how to speak Australian in this class and Aussie Rules is full of action and movement and a unique style of balance. Our little players quickly learn that chasing the ball is fun… but kicking it through four sets of goals is even better.
Cricket
This is not the name of an insect or Netflix show, but a huge global Summer sport. You bat, bowl, field and throw balls at stumps. It’s loads of cheering when someone hits a “massive six”… even if it only travels three metres.
Gridiron
Ready, set… hut! Kids learn to throw passes, dodge defenders and run for the end zone. With soft equipment and lots of laughs, don’t be surprised if they start shouting “touchdown!” at home and working on celebration dances.
Tennis
Small racquets. Big swings. Kids learn to swing, aim andmake contact with the ball while improving balance and coordination.Don’t be surprised if they start requesting strawberries andcream after class, as if they’re at Wimbledon!
